A Concert That Became Something More

Sometimes a concert becomes much more than a concert.

On June 6, 2026, I was fortunate enough to attend Bryan Adams' Bare Bones Tour at the Encore Theater inside Wynn Las Vegas.

The tickets were gifted to me by a friend we'll simply call "CHOW"—because the first time I met him, he reminded me of Chow from The Hangover. Looking back, I'm grateful he gave me the opportunity to attend because the evening turned into something I didn't realize I needed.

The last time I saw Bryan Adams perform, I was still in high school. Like many people, I've known his music for decades through songs like Summer of '69, Heaven, (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, and countless others.

But what stood out most during this show wasn't just the music—it was the stories behind the music.

Throughout the evening, Bryan shared personal stories about songwriting, family, perseverance, and the experiences that shaped him into the artist he is today.

Healing Through Music

Healing Through Music - One of the most emotional moments for me came when he discussed themes connected to war, peace, and the impact conflict can have on families and individuals.

Bryan has spoken publicly about the importance of peace and healing, including through his song What If There Were No Sides At All, which encourages people to look beyond division and focus on understanding and humanity.

As someone who has struggled with my own forms of trauma and difficult experiences throughout life, hearing those stories hit me harder than I expected.

My experiences are very different from those of military veterans living with PTSD, but pain, loss, stress, anxiety, and emotional wounds affect people from all walks of life. Sitting there listening to Bryan's words and music reminded me that healing isn't always linear.

Sometimes it comes through conversations.

Sometimes it comes through friendships.

Sometimes it comes through art.

Sometimes it comes through a random conversation with a stranger.

And sometimes it comes through a song.

There were moments during the show that genuinely brought tears to my eyes.

The message that stayed with me was simple:

Love is stronger than hate.

War changes people.

Trauma changes people.

Loss changes people.

But compassion, understanding, forgiveness, and hope can help people find their way forward again.

Family, Support & Chasing Dreams

Another touching part of the evening involved Bryan speaking about the support he received from his family throughout his life and career.

Like many successful artists, athletes, entrepreneurs, and creators, his journey wasn't built alone. It took encouragement, belief, sacrifice, and people willing to support his dreams long before the rest of the world knew his name.

That message resonated deeply with me.

Whether it's Bryan Adams, Gwen Stefani, entrepreneurs, athletes, artists, or everyday people chasing goals, most successful journeys begin long before anyone notices. They begin with years of persistence, rejection, doubt, sacrifice, and continuing to move forward when nobody else sees the vision.

I've spent much of my own life pursuing dreams that many people considered unrealistic. I've often been told things wouldn't work. I've been called different. I've been told to lower my expectations.

But one thing I've learned is that if you stop believing in yourself, the dream ends right there.

You don't need everyone to believe in you.

You just need enough belief to keep taking the next step.

Showing Up Anyway

When Life Changes Your Support System

Showing Up Anyway - One thing I've also learned over the years is that sometimes the people you expect to show up don't.

Before this show, I reached out to several people about attending and never heard back. That's become a familiar part of life. But if I've learned anything, it's that you can't stop living just because other people don't join the journey.

Some of the best experiences I've had happened because I decided to go anyway.

While listening to Bryan talk about years of hard work before success arrived, I couldn't help but think about my own journey building GONNAHAPPEN.

There have been plenty of times people said it wouldn't work. Times when I was told to move on, lower my expectations, or stop chasing dreams that seemed impossible.

Yet here I am.

Still writing.

Still creating.

Still attending events.

Still networking.

Still building.

Still believing something bigger is possible.

A Full Circle Moment

Music has a way of connecting different chapters of our lives.

The last time I saw Bryan Adams perform, I was still in high school trying to figure out who I wanted to become.

Decades later, sitting inside the Encore Theater, I realized I'm still chasing dreams.

The dreams may have changed.

The journey has certainly changed.

But the pursuit hasn't.

The Encore Theater Experience - The Encore Theater itself was incredible. The sound quality was outstanding, every seat felt connected to the performance, and the intimate nature of the Bare Bones format allowed the audience to experience Bryan's music and storytelling in a way that felt personal and authentic.

Ironically, I arrived with an extra ticket and nobody to attend with. That's become somewhat normal for me these days. Most events, concerts, and adventures happen solo.

The Air Force Librarian

#BryanAdams #BareBonesTour #EncoreTheater #WynnLasVegas #LasVegasEntertainment #LiveMusic #ConcertReview #AaronGBeebe #GONNAHAPPEN #HealingThroughMusic #NeverGiveUp #LoveOverHate #MusicMatters #DreamBig #KeepGoing

The Air Force Librarian - Before the show, I met a gentleman looking for a ticket. We ended up sharing the experience together. I can't remember his name, but he had previously served in the Air Force and worked as a librarian.

A few hours earlier we were complete strangers.

By the end of the night we were sharing stories, laughing, reflecting, and enjoying the same music together.

Sometimes life reminds you that meaningful connections don't always come from the people you've known the longest.

Sometimes they come from the stranger sitting next to you.

When Life Changes Your Support System

When Life Changes Your Support System - Sometimes life doesn't give you the support system you hoped for.

Over the years, life has a way of changing relationships, circumstances, and the people around you. In many ways, it can feel like your support system slowly disappears, leaving you to figure things out on your own.

There have been times when I've felt completely alone while trying to rebuild my life, pursue my goals, and keep my dreams alive. Times when the people I expected to be there weren't. Times when it felt easier to give up than keep pushing forward.

That's one of the reasons this evening meant so much to me.

Listening to Bryan Adams talk about perseverance, family, hope, and continuing to move forward reminded me that difficult chapters don't have to define the rest of your story.

Days like this give me hope.

Hope to keep living.

Hope to keep believing.

Hope to keep creating.

Hope to keep chasing the dreams that are still in my heart, even when the road feels lonely.

Because sometimes all it takes is one conversation, one song, one experience, or one reminder that your story isn't over yet.

And as long as the story continues, there's still a reason to keep moving forward.

Kindness Matters More Than We Realize

Kindness Matters More Than We Realize - Over the past year I've spent time volunteering at golf tournaments, museums, community events, acting workshops, and entertainment projects throughout Nevada, California, and Arizona.

One thing those experiences have taught me is that people are carrying battles you can't see.

The person standing next to you may be dealing with loss.

Financial struggles.

Health issues.

Family challenges.

Loneliness.

Or simply trying to figure out where they belong in the world.

Bryan's message reminded me that kindness, compassion, and understanding matter more than we often realize.

The Lasting Message

Bryan Adams Bare Bones Tour at Encore Theater Las Vegas: Healing, Hope, Music & Never Giving Up - Lasting Memories for Every one

The Lasting Message (Memories for everyone) - Bryan Adams spent the evening proving exactly why his music has connected with generations of fans around the world. The songs came from the heart. The stories came from real life. And the message underneath it all was one of hope, resilience, gratitude, and perseverance.

As I walked out of the Encore Theater that night, I wasn't thinking about ticket prices, setlists, or even my favorite songs.

I was thinking about perseverance.

About healing.

About the people who helped us along the way.

About the dreams we still haven't given up on.

And maybe that's what great music does.

It doesn't just entertain us.

It reminds us who we are.

And sometimes, who we're still trying to become.

Thank you, Bryan.

For the music.

For the memories.

For some healing.

And for reminding all of us that hope is always worth holding onto.
