“The song ‘Waste Your Life Away’ is written from the perspective of my past self,” shares vocalist Tyler Womack.

“I was the burnout ‘guy on the couch’ whose only goal was getting as messed up as I could on whatever I could get my hands on. The song talks about the downside of being an addict, but more importantly—it’s about hope.
